To be honest...
In our community, 1 in 5 adolescents is impacted by a diagnosable mental, emotional, or behavioral health condition, yet nearly 70% do not receive the care they need. At the same time, 44% of 12th graders have tried marijuana, and youth who begin using substances before age 18 are 4 to 7 times more likely to develop a substance use disorder later in life. The need to support children and teens has never been more urgent.
With your support, The Bougainvilla House can open its doors to more children and teens who are navigating behavioral health and substance use challenges. Your generosity also helps provide financial assistance for families in need, ensuring access to timely, life-changing care.
Our campus is a safe, healing environment—intentionally designed to meet the developmental and emotional needs of today’s youth. Our dedicated counselors provide compassionate, evidence-informed care while helping young people build the coping skills needed to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Together, we can empower youth with the tools, support, and hope they need to navigate life’s challenges and build a healthier, brighter future.
